Apple iPhone 8
The iPhone 8 is a short (in time) predecessor to the already announced iPhone X. Curiously Apple introduced both at the same event, which, in our opinion will lead to anemic sales of the iPhone 8. This new 8 model comes in 64 or 256 gb models in both the 4.7" and 5.5" Retina Displays. The iPhone 8 has wireless charging as well.

Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+
The Samsung Galaxy S8 comes in two sizes - the standard size S8 has a 5.8" and the S8+ has a 6.2" display. They have a 12mp rear facing camera capable of recording 4k video and a front facing (selfie) 8mp camera with smart auto focus. The S8 and S8+ both come with facial recognition, something the iPhone 8 does not yet have but the iPhone X will come equipped with, they also have wireless charging. The S8 and S8+ come standard with 4gb Ram and 64gb of storage space, expandable up to 256gb.
