Duke's Chowder House is a Seattle area staple, with locations in Lake Union, West Seattle, Kent Station and soon Bellevue, Duke's offers a large selection of seafood choices featuring their award winning clam chowder.
I have dined here on many occasions, specifically the Kent Station location and typically have the Blackened Caesar Salad and a bowl of chowder or crab bisque. I've never been disappointed with the service or food choices. Everything is prepared fresh and with care.

The atmosphere and decor are simple but efficient. They have several beers on tap and a decent wine selection, but nothing too vast or over-the-top. The fish and chips are reasonably priced and prepared to order, no microwaved fish here. Duke's focuses on sustainable seafood, caught and prepared in accordance with local and national law and it shows in their menu.

Overall: very good, fresh prepared meals with sustainable seafood focus. Great chowders and soups, try the crab bisque it is excellent.
Pros: Great service and friendly atmosphere, fresh seafood served with warm out of the oven sourdough bread.
Cons: not a large wine selection but that is all I can complain about.
